Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD near Tewkesbury is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join a busy, growing independent service centre. This role offers a Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 schedule with zero Saturday shifts and a modern, well-equipped workshop where your diagnostic and mechanical expertise are valued.

You will perform routine servicing, inspections, parts replacements, and diagnostics with up-to-date tools and multi-brand software.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or City & Guilds / equivalent) or time-served considered.
• Full UK driving licence required; MOT Tester licence preferred.
• Own hand tools to perform daily repair and diagnostic tasks.
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, component replacements and general repairs across various makes and models.
• Utilise up-to-date diagnostic tools and scanners to troubleshoot faults.
• Deliver high-quality first-time fix results to uphold our regional reputation.
• Work with a skilled, supportive team to keep the workshop safe and efficient.
