Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Stonehouse is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our independent team in a modern workshop. Youll service and prepare premium stock with high-tech tooling, delivering quality workmanship in a supportive environment.

You will perform routine servicing, inspections, and repairs using diagnostics, with a focus on first-time fixes. A full UK driving licence and own hand tools are essential; MOT Tester licence is a plus.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or City & Guilds / equivalent). Time-served technicians with a proven track record are encouraged to apply.
F-Gas certification preferred (or interest in obtaining).
Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
Must possess own hand tools to perform daily repair/diagnostic tasks.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine vehicle servicing, multi-point safety inspections, braking overhauls and general mechanical repairs.
Complete preventative maintenance and prep work to meet our standards before handover.
Use modern diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
Maintain high 'first-time fix' standards across a diverse range of vehicles.
Collaborate with a skilled technical team to keep workshop flow safe and efficient.
