Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Brighton is seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our long-established family garage. You’ll perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of makes and models in a clean, high-spec facility with a loyal customer base.

We offer a Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule with 28 days holiday, free on-site parking, a healthcare scheme, a pension, and regular pay reviews.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance or proven time-served experience.
• Strong mechanical repair and fault-finding background in a busy workshop.
• Reliable, quality-focused technician with a positive team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Executing routine vehicle servicing, safety checks, and maintenance.
• Carrying out diagnostic fault-finding and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Handling core mechanical repairs (brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts/chains).
• Working with service advisors to keep repair communications clear.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working bay.
