Job summary

Hawk Hiring is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician in Manchester to join a well-established automotive business. You will service, maintain and repair a range of vehicles in a professional workshop environment, ensuring quality workmanship and safety.

You'll work Monday to Friday with no weekend shifts, with a competitive salary of £30,000–£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and a pension, free parking and ongoing training opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) – essential.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Own tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servicing & Maintenance: Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of vehicles.
• Diagnostics: Identifying and repairing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Mechanical Repairs: Completing brakes, clutches, suspension, cambelts and general mechanical repairs.
• Quality Workmanship: Ensuring vehicles are completed safely and to a consistently high standard.
