Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Clevedon is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy workshop. You will perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs to high technical standards using multi-brand tooling.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven hands-on experience in vehicle diagnosis, servicing, and general repairs.
• F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs to high technical standards.
• Inspect and assess core systems, including brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, and timing assemblies.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately using modern diagnostic software and equipment.
• Maintain precise digital job records while adhering strictly to workshop health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate productively with fellow mechanics to keep the workshop flowing efficiently.
