Job summary

Vertu Peugeot Northampton is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. You will diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles and work closely with service advisors to ensure high-quality repairs.

The role requires a relevant formal qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3), current technician experience (diagnostic or senior), and your own tool kit; a full UK driving licence is essential. A £4,000 sign-on bonus is available.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at Vertu Peugeot Northampton.

We are offering a basic salary between £30,075 - £47,780 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42 hour working week Monday-Friday with no weekends + over-performance bonus opportunity. On top of this, we’re offering a £4,000 sign-on bonus!*

You will be the expert in carrying out diagnostics and undertaking servicing and repair work on customer vehicles. You will effectively use your technical knowledge and skills to ensure you and your colleagues are working efficiently. You will be expected to liaise with service advisors, customers and senior management ensuring excellent customer service and a professional approach at all times. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician (Diagnostic or Senior level)
