Job summary

Vertu Nissan Northampton is seeking a Senior or Master Technician to join a supportive, high-performing team where your development will be invested in. You'll diagnose, service and repair customer vehicles to the highest standards, liaising with advisors, customers and management as needed.

We offer a base salary £36,080–£47,780 for a 42-hour week, Monday to Friday with no weekend work, plus potential earnings from an over-performance bonus and a £4,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3).
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician at Senior or Master level preferred.
• Own set of tools and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repair work to the highest standards.
• Work efficiently and liaise with Service Advisors, customers and management as required.
• Deliver quality workmanship with a focus on first-time fixes.

We are offering a basic salary of £36,080 - £47,780, depending on skills and experience, based on a 42-hour working week, Monday to Friday with no weekend working, plus the opportunity to increase your earnings through our over-performance bonus scheme. On top of this, we’re offering a £4,000 sign-on bonus!

The role

You’ll be the technical expert within the workshop, carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repair work on customer vehicles to the highest standards.

Using your technical knowledge and experience, you’ll work efficiently while supporting colleagues around you and liaising with Service Advisors, customers and management when required.

Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are at the heart of what we do, so we’re looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and delivers a professional approach every time.

What We’re Looking For

• A relevant formal automotive qualification such as City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally operating at Senior or Master Technician level
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
