Job summary

Vertu Volkswagen Harrogate is recruiting Vehicle Technicians. A 40-hour week with no weekend work and a £4,000 sign-on bonus (£2,000 in the first month, £2,000 after 13 months) await the successful candidate. Salaries range from £28,600 to £46,790 depending on skills and experience.

You will maintain vehicles to high standards, perform inspections, repairs and services, and manage parts while delivering excellent customer service. UK driving licence required.

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence

Vertu Volkswagen Harrogate are recruiting! We have some great opportunities for Vehicle Technicians to join our team!

Join us and receive a £4,000 sign-on bonus, with £2,000 paid in your first month and a further £2,000 after 13 months of service as a reward for your commitment.

We are offering a basic salary between £28,600 and £46,790 depending upon skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week with no weekend working!

As a Vehicle Technician you will be a key member of our team, maintaining vehicles to the high standards as set out in our Health and Safety policy, carrying out inspections, repairs and services and handling and storing parts.

In addition you will be required to deliver an outstanding customer experience. As we have numerous opportunities, we would love to talk to you if your experience is from an independent dealer or volume franchise dealer.

The packages we are offering are dependant upon experience and accreditation however you can expect basic salaries as below:

• Prep Technicians up to £35,720
• Service and Maintenance Technicians up to £36,950
• Service and Diagnostic Technicians up to £39,410
• Senior Technicians up to £41,870
• Master Technicians up to £46,790

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
