Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to carry out servicing, mechanical repairs and fault diagnostics in a busy, modern workshop.

Base is Haywards Heath with Mon-Fri 8:00–17:30 and strictly no weekends. NVQ Level 3 (or time-served) is required, UK driving licence and own hand tools. Full training and licensing including MOT may be funded for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong hands-on skills in routine servicing, brakes, suspension and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Active MOT Smart Card is a bonus, but full training and licensing will be fully funded for the right mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and fault diagnostics in a busy workshop.
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks including cambelts and MOT-related work.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs to roadworthiness standards and support a high-quality workshop.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM — STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS
