Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Sussex is looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team. You will perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a varied range of vehicles in a modern, well-equipped environment.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, strong diagnostic skills, and a full UK driving licence with own hand tools; DVSA MOT Smart Card is a plus. Weekend work is not required and a supportive team culture is offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or solid time-served workshop experience).
• Proven proficiency in routine vehicle servicing, fault diagnostics, and general mechanical repair.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

• General servicing, health checks, safety inspections, brake and suspension work, diagnostic troubleshooting, MOT prep, and repair across a varied mix of make and model customer vehicles.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience) + performance incentives
• Hours: Monday to Friday only — STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS
