Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Sussex is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team. You will handle routine maintenance, mechanical repairs, servicing, and fault diagnostic work on a diverse range of vehicles in a supportive, modern environment.

The role is Monday to Friday with no weekend work, offering a salary of £35,000–£45,000 basic per annum plus incentives, on-site parking, and ongoing technical development to stay current with new vehicle technology.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or solid time-served experience).
• Proven proficiency in routine vehicle servicing, fault diagnostics, and general mechanical repair.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools. DVSA MOT Smart Card is a strong advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of a diverse range of vehicles.
• Carry out fault diagnostics and mechanical repairs as required.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out repairs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Work across a varied mix of make and model customer vehicles.

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience) + performance incentives
• Hours: Monday to Friday only — STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS
