Hawk Hiring LTD in Eastbourne is seeking a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic or ambitious Improver to join our busy workshop. You will perform routine servicing, fault-finding and repairs across cars and light commercial vehicles in a friendly, supportive environment.

We value hands-on experience, time-served routes and a strong work ethic. A full UK driving licence and own tools are required; NVQ Level 2/3 welcomed, with on-site parking and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on garage experience in vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• NVQ Level 2/3 preferred; time-served experience valued.
• Proficient in servicing, brakes, suspension, and basic fault finding.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £32,000 - £39,000 basic per annum + flexible bonus scheme (choose between extra monthly cash or a massive Christmas lump-sum payout!)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM - STRICTLY NO MANDATORY WEEKENDS (Optional weekend overtime available if you want to boost your earnings!)

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on garage experience carrying out vehicle servicing and mechanical maintenance.
• Formal qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3) are welcome, but time-served experience and a great work ethic matter most to us!
• Proficient with routine servicing, brakes, suspension, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
• Active MOT Smart Card is a bonus (if you aren't qualified, we will fully fund and train you!)
