Job summary

Reactive Permanent Recruitment is seeking Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics for a busy Cardiff site in South Wales. You will carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of vehicles, diagnosing faults in workshop and on the road, using up-to-date tools to achieve first-time fixes.

The role offers an excellent basic salary of £32,000–£38,000 per year (DOE) plus a £6,000 annual bonus, with overtime at x1.5.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points)
• Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Main dealership experience is preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, in the workshop and on the road
• Using up-to-date tools and systems to achieve first-time fixes
• Working to brand and safety standards at all times
• Maximising productivity through efficient use of workshop systems
• Taking part in ongoing technical and brand-specific training

Vehicle Technician/Mechanic package:

• Excellent basic salary of between £32-38,000 per annum (DOE)
