Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Cardiff is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership workshop. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs while developing your technical and diagnostic skills.

We require NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, at least 2 years of main dealer experience, own tools and a UK driving licence. MOT licence is desirable. Right to work in the UK with no sponsorship is needed.

• At least 2 years' main dealer experience.
• MOT Licence desirable but not essential.
• Own tools and toolbox required.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK with no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
• Carrying out Vehicle Health Checks and CITNOW videos.
• Completing all work to a high standard of quality and efficiency.
• Following manufacturer and health & safety standards.
• Accurately documenting work in line with warranty guidelines.
• Providing professional advice and support to customers where required.

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to £34,000 Basic DOE

OTE: £41,500

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00 + Saturday mornings on rota
