Job summary

Reactive Permanent Recruitment are recruiting Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics for a busy Pontypridd site in Wales. The role offers a strong base salary (£32k–£38k DOE) plus a bonus of £6k per year and overtime at 1.5x. The package includes training, holidays, pension, and wellbeing perks within a reputable dealership group.

You will service, diagnose, and repair vehicles, using up-to-date tools while adhering to brand and safety standards and pursuing ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).
• Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Main dealership experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, in the workshop and on the road.
• Using up-to-date tools and systems to achieve first-time fixes and comply with brand/safety standards.
• Maximising productivity through efficient use of workshop systems.
• Taking part in ongoing technical and brand-specific training.

Role:

Reactive Permanent Recruitment are working with a reputable medium sized dealership group with sites across the region. Due to growth, they seek a number of Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join their busy team in Pontypridd, Wales.

Vehicle Technician/Mechanic package:

• Excellent basic salary of between £32-38,000 per annum (DOE)
• Fantastic and very achievable bonus of £6,000 per annum (paid monthly)
