Job summary

Reactive Permanent Recruitment are working with a reputable, medium-sized dealership group with sites across South Wales to recruit Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics for their busy Cardiff team.

The package includes a strong base salary (£32-38k), a £6k annual bonus, overtime at 1.5x, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension, and full manufacturer training and development. Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with 1 in 3 Saturdays. There is a clear career path within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).
• Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Main dealership experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, in the workshop and on the road.
• Using up-to-date tools and systems to achieve first-time fixes.
• Working to brand and safety standards at all times.
• Maximising productivity through efficient use of workshop systems.
• Taking part in ongoing technical and brand-specific training.

Role:

Reactive Permanent Recruitment are working with a reputable medium sized dealership group with sites across the region. Due to growth, they seek a number of Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join their busy team in Cardiff, South Wales.

Vehicle Technician/Mechanic package:

• Excellent basic salary of between £32-38,000 per annum (DOE)
• Fantastic and very achievable bonus of £6,000 per annum (paid monthly)
