We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run dealer group in Cardiff seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join its premium franchise site. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within a supportive, award-winning automotive business.

Salary is £30,000–£36,000 per annum, with a guaranteed team-based bonus of £300 per month and overtime paid at time and a half. The role offers Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with occasional Saturdays, and access to accredited

Formación

• IMI or NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification.
• Previous main dealer experience is essential; wider dealer experience desirable.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points; MOT licence advantageous but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis to manufacturer and company standards.
• Accurately identify vehicle faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.
• Complete all work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Follow company quality procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Work closely with the Workshop Controller and wider workshop team.
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.

Duties:

• As a Vehicle Technician, carry out servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis to manufacturer and company standards

Requirements:

• The successful Vehicle Technician will hold an IMI or NVQ Level 3 qualification, or an equivalent Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
• Previous main dealership experience is essential; wider dealership experience is highly desirable
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points is required
• An active MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential
• As a Vehicle Technician, you will need a methodical approach, strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet the standards of a busy independent garage environment is essential
