Reactive Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a reputable Newport, South Wales dealership to recruit Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics. The role offers a basic salary of £32,000–£38,000 depending on experience, plus a £6,000 annual bonus, with overtime at 1.5x.

Training and development are provided at the site. The ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving licence, Level 2/3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance, and a keen eye for detail and customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points)
• Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Strong attention to detail with a customer-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, in the workshop and on the road
• Using up-to-date tools and systems to achieve first-time fixes
• Working to brand and safety standards at all times
• Maximising productivity through efficient use of workshop systems
• Taking part in ongoing technical and brand-specific training

Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, Newport, South Wales

Reactive Permanent Recruitment are working with a reputable medium sized dealership group with sites across the region. Due to growth, they seek a number of Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join their busy team in Newport, South Wales.

Vehicle Technician/Mechanic package:

• Excellent basic salary of between £32-38,000 per annum (DOE)
