Job summary

Lithia UK’s Stratstone Jaguar Land Rover Hull is recruiting an Apprentice Vehicle Technician. You’ll learn hands-on vehicle servicing with mentor support, progressing towards an IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance, setting you up for a career as a qualified technician.

No prior automotive experience is required—the apprenticeship is designed to train you from scratch, with structured training, mentoring, and opportunities to grow within a leading automotive retailer.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• A keen eye for detail.
• A grade C/4 in English, Maths and Science.

Responsibilities

• Learning to service vehicles, checking and maintaining them following clear instructions.
• Learning to diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections.
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance to vehicles.
• Maintain repair and service records on the in-house computer system and for customers.
