Lithia UK is offering a Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship at Evans Halshaw Renault Edinburgh with a September 2026 start date. You’ll combine hands-on dealership work with structured training and mentor support to achieve an IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance.

No previous automotive experience is required; the apprenticeship is designed to teach you everything you need to know while you develop a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in vehicles and the automotive industry
• A willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• A keen eye for detail
• A grade C or Grade 4 in English, Maths and Science

Responsibilities

• Learning to service vehicles, checking and maintaining them following clear instructions
• Learning to diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance to vehicles
• Maintain repair and service records on the in‑house computer system and for customers.
