Lithia UK, Evans Halshaw MG Grantham, is recruiting for September 2026 to join as an Apprentice Vehicle Technician. You’ll combine hands-on dealership experience with formal training and be supported by an experienced mentor to work toward an IMI Level 3 qualification.

No prior automotive experience required; you’ll learn to service, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with clear instructions and time estimates.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.

• A keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles, checking and maintaining them following clear instructions.
• Learn to diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections.
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance to vehicles.
• Maintain repair and service records on the in-house computer system and for customers.
