Job summary

Stratstone Audi Shrewsbury offers a Vehicle Technician Apprentice role with hands-on dealership experience and structured training. You will work towards an IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance, supported by a mentor, with no prior automotive experience required.

You will attend the Inspiro Training Academy in Milton Keynes for multi-year visits, while learning to service, diagnose, and repair vehicles, perform checks, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Grade C/4 in English, Maths and Science.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles following clear instructions.
• Diagnose, repair and replace parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections.
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain repair and service records in the in-house system and for customers.
