Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician for the Wellingborough Autocentres site in Northamptonshire. You will perform interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repair work, including tyres and components across brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

Qualified mechanics with Level 2 in LV Maintenance or time served, plus a full driving licence (≤9 points), are encouraged to apply. Enjoy comprehensive benefits and an uncapped bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair work (brakes, suspension, steering, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major servicing and follow-up repairs.
• Perform work on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others.
• Ensure work meets Halfords standards and safety requirements.

• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
