- Performing accurate and high-quality repairs and servicing of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
- Diagnosing faults efficiently using in-depth knowledge of vehicle electronics and systems
- Mentoring and providing technical assistance to other technicians within the workshop
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, and in compliance with health and safety regulations, immediately addressing any issues with customers regarding ongoing or complex vehicle repairs
- Maintaining detailed records of repairs, services, and diagnostics performed as a Vehicle Technician
- Supporting workshop efficiency by authoring accurate repair estimates and parts requisitions
- Contributing to a high standard of customer service by providing technical advice and updates as needed
- Continuously developing technical skills through training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Fully qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchise dealership environment or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, electronics, and system troubleshooting
- Valid UK driving licence
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability to a busy workshop environment, with the capacity to meet targets and deadlines
- Motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
