Job summary

Octane Recruitment has a vacancy in Belfast for a Vehicle Technician. You will perform servicing and maintenance across a range of vehicles, with opportunities for extensive bonus potential and overtime on a rotating schedule.

The role requires diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults, and may include MOT testing if qualified. A strong candidate will have a full UK driving licence and relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• NVQ/IMI/ATA/City & Guilds Level 3 preferred; Level 2 with significant dealership experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair as per brand parameters.
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified).

Up to £43,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + £3,000 Productivity Bonus + Efficiency Bonus + Overtime OTE £52.4k DOE & Qualifications

Days - Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota, 40 hours per week

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, ATA or City & Guilds level 3 ideally but we will also consider level 2 with a lot of experience (If you’re a level 2 Vehicle Technician with main dealership experience then definitely)
