Job summary

Octane Recruitment has a vacancy for a Vehicle Technician in Doncaster. The role involves servicing and maintaining vehicles, diagnosing faults and performing MOT work where qualified.

You will join a leading main dealer group with excellent bonus opportunities, in-house training and a strong pension scheme. Typical hours are 40 per week, Monday–Friday with Saturdays on a rota.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license required.
• MOT license beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ/IMI/ATA or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification preferred; Level 2 considered with extensive dealership experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic) and repair as per brand parameters.
• Assist with MOT testing where qualified.

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, ATA or City & Guilds level 3 ideally but we will also consider level 2 with a lot of experience (If you’re a level 2 Vehicle Technician with main dealership experience then definitely apply!)
• MOT license would be beneficial but not essential
