Octane Recruitment in Harrogate is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a leading main dealer group. The role involves carrying out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles and diagnosing faults to brand standards.

The position offers a basic salary up to £36,182 with bonus and overtime. Working days are Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with opportunities for progression and benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is required.
• MOT licence would be beneficial but not essential.
• Level 2 qualification considered with substantial experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Conduct electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair.
• Perform MOT testing duties if qualified.

NVQ/IMI/ATA or City & Guilds Level 3

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles


• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters


• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license


• NVQ, IMI, ATA or City & Guilds level 3 ideally but we will also consider level 2 with a lot of experience


• MOT license would be beneficial but not essential
