Job summary

Octane Recruitment is assisting a leading main dealer group in Newcastle to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. You should have 3+ years of hands-on experience and Level 3 qualification, plus a full UK driving license.

The position offers up to £43,000 basic salary with uncapped bonuses, plus a £3,000 productivity bonus, an efficiency bonus and overtime. OTE can reach around £52,400 depending on performance and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vehicle technician experience.
• Level 3 qualification or equivalent is required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• MOT testing duties if qualified and required.

Days- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota, 40 hours per week

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineeering level 3 or equivalent ideally but we will also consider level 2 withmain dealer experience
