Job summary

Octane Recruitment advertises a Vehicle Technician role in Glasgow, offering a salary around £55,656 per year with bonus potential and a 4 day week option. The position requires 4+ years hands-on experience and a full UK driving license, with opportunities for overtime and productivity bonuses.

The role covers servicing and maintenance of all vehicles, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, and MOT testing duties if qualified. Monday–Friday, with Saturdays on a rota.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent is required or higher.
• Level 2 qualification accepted if experience with a main dealer group.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Perform electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

Vehicle Technician – Glasgow

Salary – Up to £47,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + £3,000 Productivity Bonus + Efficiency Bonus + Overtime OTE £56,656 DOE & Qualifications

Days– Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota, 40 hours per week or choose a 4 day working ween (Mon – Thur or Tue – Fri, 42 hours per week)

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles

• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
