Job summary

Halfords is looking for a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services and related repair work. The role includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension tasks.

You will work 5 days a week in a frontline service environment, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to progress within Halfords. The base salary ranges from £31,000 to £33,000 with an uncapped bonus scheme averaging £4,700 per year, delivering on-target earnings up to £37,700.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major vehicle services.
• Perform follow-up repair and replacement work as required.
• Carry out tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension tasks.
