Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Newport to perform interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repair work. You’ll handle tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension tasks as part of a busy automotive service team.

Job description

• On-target earnings up to £37,000
• Comprising a base salary of £32,500
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £4,500er year
• 5 days a week (centre is closed on a Sunday)

Skills And Experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
