Job summary

Halfords is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician in the UK. You will carry out interim, full and major services and related repair work, including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

The role offers on-target earnings up to £40,910, a base salary between £32,500 and £35,910, and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £5,000 per year. Benefits include generous leave and staff discounts, with hybrid training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering components).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major vehicle services and related repair work.
• Handle tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension tasks.
• Perform follow-up repair and replacement work as required.
