Job summary

Halfords is looking for a Vehicle Service Technician in Bury to perform interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repair work including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

You must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience, plus a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points. The role offers a base salary and an uncapped bonus scheme with potential earnings above base.

• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and related repair work (tyres, brakes, steering, suspension, etc).

• Assist with other service tasks as required.

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
