Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Service Technician in the UK. You will perform interim, full and major services, and handle follow-up repairs including brakes, suspension, steering and air conditioning, in a role offering training and progression.

The package includes a base salary of £32,500–£35,910 with an uncapped bonus scheme averaging £5,000 per year, and on-target earnings up to £40,910. Five days a week in a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services as well as repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension, steering, tyres, air conditioning).
• Provide vehicle servicing and follow-up repair work in line with Halfords standards.

• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
