Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Service Technician in the Cambridgeshire region. You will perform interim, full and major services and related repairs, including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

The position offers a base salary between £30,750 and £33,830 with on-target earnings up to £38,130 and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £4,300 per year. Benefits include generous leave, staff discounts and long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus related repair work (tyres, brakes, suspension, steering, etc).

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
