Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd on behalf of a reputable dealership in Hereford, Herefordshire, is seeking a Vehicle Service Advisor with 2-3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role within automotive. You will be the primary contact in the Service Department, greet customers, record vehicle details and liaise with workshop staff to update status.

Qualifications

2-3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A clean UK driving licence with minimal points.
IT literacy; Kerridge/ADP experience preferable.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the Service Department.
Greet customers and record vehicle details efficiently.
Liaise with workshop staff to chase work in progress and update customers on vehicle status.
Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
Organise collection and delivery of courtesy vehicles where applicable.
Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Liaise with the manufacturer for warranty authorisation and procedures as needed.
