Main Dealer in Newbury is seeking an experienced Vehicle Sales Executive to join the team. You will welcome customers, understand requirements and help them choose the right vehicle, while managing inquiries and generating leads across channels.

Role requires proven vehicle sales experience in a main dealership or motor trade, with a strong focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience and achieving sales targets. Benefits include company car, pension, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand requirements to help select the right vehicle.
• Manage inbound enquiries and generate sales leads by phone, email and other channels.
• Conduct consultations, vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Provide expert advice on vehicle specs, features, pricing and finance options.
• Appraise part-exchanges and assess their condition.
• Follow up enquiries and manage customers through the sales process to maximise conversions.
• Maintain vehicle presentation, cleanliness and pricing.
• Support dealership sales events and promotions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Sales Executive to join a fantastic Main Dealer in Newbury. We are looking for a driven, customer-focused individual with a proven track record in vehicle sales and a passion for delivering exceptional face-to-face customer service.

Vehicle Sales Executive Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their requirements and assist them in selecting the right vehicle.
• Manage inbound enquiries and proactively generate sales leads by phone, email and other channels.
• Conduct customer consultations, vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Provide expert advice on vehicle specifications, features, pricing and finance options.
• Appraise customer part-exchange vehicles and accurately assess their condition.
• Follow up enquiries and manage customers throughout the sales process to maximise conversions.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle presentation, cleanliness and pricing.
• Support dealership sales events and promotional activities.

Vehicle Sales Executive Requirements

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential, alongside a proactive, driven and results-focused approach.
• The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for the automotive industry and a strong determination to achieve sales targets. Previous experience working in a vehicle sales environment is essential, ideally within a main dealership or established motor trade business.
• You will be confident dealing with customers, able to build rapport quickly and motivated by delivering an outstanding customer experience while maximising every sales opportunity.
