Vehicle Maintenance Technician – Location: Kidderminster

Our client is a dynamic and expanding company specializing in the manufacture, sale, and maintenance of refuse collection vehicles across the UK. We are currently seeking a dedicated Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our workshop team in Kidderminster.

Responsibilities
  • Building, maintaining and repairing specialist refuse collection vehicles to the highest standards.
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Refurbishment work
  • Welding repairs
  • Completing work to company standards and deadlines
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of daily work activities
Qualifications
  • Mechanical experience, ideally from commercial or HGV vehicles, or relevant mechanical fitting & welding repairs
  • Desirable: experience with vehicle electrics and hydraulics
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to health, safety, and good housekeeping practices
