Job Description:
The Veeva Migration Technical Lead will be responsible for leading migration projects, coordinating technical teams, and ensuring successful implementation of Veeva Vault solutions. The role is primarily remote with a flexible salary package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, timelines, and resource efforts. Break down these into actionable work packages, ensuring effective tracking within development plans.
- Communication and Collaboration: Act as the liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, coordinating dependencies, providing updates, and promoting teamwork.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead a global team of technical consultants, fostering a positive and results-oriented environment that encourages productivity and support.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand requirements, and manage expectations. Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, and scope changes through regular reports.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges, communicating proactively with the project team and management.
- Change Management: Identify potential change orders, communicate them, and provide scope definitions, estimates, and resource planning.
- Pre-sales Support: Support business development by providing technical expertise during pre-sales, understanding client needs, and contributing to proposals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 8 years in data/document migration or ECM, with 3+ years in a leadership role within the life sciences industry. Extensive ECM system experience is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ECM platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault, OpenText Documentum), migration tools, SQL, XML, scripting languages, and experience with cloud and on-premise solutions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of life sciences regulations, validation processes, and GxP compliance.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects with excellent problem-solving skills.
