Job Description:

The Veeva Migration Technical Lead will be responsible for leading migration projects, managing technical teams, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of Veeva Vault systems. The role is remote with a flexible salary.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, timelines, and resource efforts. Break down these into actionable work packages and track within development plans.
2. Communication and Collaboration: Act as the liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, coordinating dependencies, providing updates, and promoting teamwork.
3. Team Leadership and Management: Lead a global team of technical consultants, fostering a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
4. Stakeholder Management: Engage with technical stakeholders for feedback, requirements, and managing expectations. Keep them informed about project progress and risks.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges, communicating proactively with the Project Manager.
6. Change Management: Identify potential change orders, communicate them, and provide detailed scope definitions, estimates, and resource plans.
7. Pre-sales Support: Support business development with technical expertise during pre-sales, understanding client requirements, developing solutions, and contributing to proposals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Experience: At least 8 years in data/document migration, ECM implementation, with 3+ years in a leadership role in life sciences. Extensive ECM experience (Veeva Vault, OpenText, Generis CARA), migration tools, SQL, XML, scripting, cloud/on-premise solutions.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of life sciences regulations, validation, GxP compliance.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership in technical teams and project management, with strong problem-solving skills.
