Job Description:
The Veeva Migration Technical Lead will be responsible for leading data migration projects within the life sciences industry, focusing on Veeva Vault systems. This role involves project planning, team leadership, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and support during pre-sales activities. The position is remote with a flexible salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, timelines, and resources. Break down tasks into work packages and track progress.
- Communication and Collaboration: Act as the liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, managing dependencies, and promoting teamwork.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead a global team of technical consultants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with technical stakeholders to gather feedback, understand requirements, and manage expectations. Provide regular status updates.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks, communicate challenges, and collaborate on solutions.
- Change Management: Identify potential change orders, communicate them, and provide scope definitions and resource estimates.
- Pre-sales Support: Support business development with technical expertise, develop solutions, and contribute to proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Life Sciences, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in data/document migration, ECM implementation, or related fields, with 3+ years in leadership roles within life sciences.
- Expertise in ECM platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault, OpenText Documentum), migration tools, SQL, XML, scripting languages, and cloud/on-premise solutions.
- Strong understanding of life sciences regulations, GxP validation, and compliance.
- Proven leadership in technical teams and complex projects with excellent problem-solving skills.
