Job Description:

The Veeva Migration Technical Lead will be responsible for leading migration projects within the life sciences sector, ensuring successful planning, execution, and stakeholder communication. The role involves managing technical teams, engaging with stakeholders, mitigating risks, and supporting pre-sales activities. The position is remote with a flexible salary package.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to define requirements, objectives, timelines, and resources, translating these into actionable work packages.
2. Communication and Collaboration: Act as the liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and teamwork.
3. Team Leadership and Management: Lead a global team of technical consultants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
4. Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks, communicating challenges proactively.
6. Change Management: Manage change orders with detailed scope definitions and resource planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of experience in data migration, ECM implementation, or related fields, with 3+ years in leadership within the life sciences industry.
• Technical expertise in ECM platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault, OpenText Documentum), migration tools, SQL, XML, scripting, and cloud/on-premise solutions.
• Strong understanding of life sciences regulations, validation, and GxP compliance.
• Proven leadership in managing technical teams and complex projects, with excellent problem-solving skills.
