Van Drivers Needed – Exeter (EX2)

£12.21 per hour | Weekly pay every Friday | Temp to Perm opportunity

Shift Patterns
  • Shift 1: 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid break)
  • Shift 2: 04:00 – 13:00 (1 hour unpaid break)

Client request flexibility: you may begin your shift in the warehouse and then head out on deliveries, or start with deliveries and finish with warehouse duties, depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
  • Picking and packing car parts accurately according to order sheets
  • Scanning, wrapping, and labelling items ready for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading delivery vans safely and efficiently
  • Sorting, processing, and recording any returns
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working area at all times
Delivery Driving Duties
  • Delivering car parts and accessories to local customers and garages
  • Handling a range of automotive components, including brake pads, discs, fluids, batteries, and other heavy items
  • Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift
  • Ensuring deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service at every drop
Requirements
  • Full, valid UK driving licence (no more than 6 points; no DR or IN convictions)
  • Previous experience in multi‑drop delivery driving or warehouse operations preferred but not essential
  • Good knowledge of local routes around Exeter and surrounding areas is beneficial
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
