Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Cardiff seeks a reliable LCV Driver to manage timely collection and deliveries to customer sites, ensuring loads are secure and compliant with safety rules. You will support fast-moving projects and maintain vehicle safety at all times.

Key duties include visiting client locations, communicating with customers, and complying with Working Time Directive and transport regulations while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence category B with no more than 6 points.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• Polite manner when visiting customer premises.
• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Geographical knowledge and LCV experience.
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes for transporting goods.
• Ensure vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys; load/unload safely and secure loads.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to legal and company safety requirements and Working Time Directive at all times.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented LCV Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
