Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled HGV Driver Lorry Loader to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while consistently meeting customer expectations.

You will operate commercial vehicles, perform safety checks, load and unload with the lorry loader, visit customer locations, and comply with safety and working time regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving license category C+E with no more than 6 points.
• CPC certification required.
• Tachograph card held.
• Hiab license preferred or required.
• FORS compliance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of goods.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure vehicle roadworthiness before journeys.
• Load and unload equipment using the lorry loader.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Comply with legal safety requirements and Working Time Directive regulations.

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Lorry Loader to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload equipment by operating the lorry loader
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
