Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a hands-on HGV Driver Plant/MEWP Load/Unload in Colnbrook. You will transport goods, load and unload equipment, and ensure vehicle safety and compliance with road and site rules.

The role requires a Category C licence (max 6 points), CPC, Tachograph card, and a proactive safety mindset. You will visit customer sites, maintain professional communication, and support site operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Category C driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• CPC certification is required.
• Tachograph card must be held and up to date.
• Proactive safety approach for vehicles and loads.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of goods.
• Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness before journey.
• Load and unload rental and equipment including heavy plant.
• Visit customer sites and communicate with staff and customers.
• Adhere to legal, company safety rules and working time regulations.

Role will require you to pass a full clean DBS check and provide a 5 year reference history

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/ Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of driving license category C - with no more than 6 points
• CPC Certified

• A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises
• Good geographical knowledge and Industry experience (desirable)
