Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals are seeking a dedicated HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/Unload to support timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while meeting or exceeding expectations.

You will operate commercial vehicles, ensure vehicle safety, load/unload heavy plant, and visit customer premises across the region, adhering to legal and company safety rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving license category C – with no more than 6 points.
• CPC Certified.
• Tachograph card.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge and industry experience (desirable).
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).
• FORS compliant (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time

About The Role
