Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a motivated LCV Driver to join our Cardiff team, delivering and collecting goods from customer sites on time while upholding high service standards.

You will operate vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, perform vehicle safety checks, load and unload cargo, and maintain clear communication with customers and colleagues.

A valid B license with up to six points, strong safety focus, and good numeracy and literacy are essential; IT systems familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving license category B with 0–6 points.
• Proactive safety focus for company vehicles and loads.
• Polite and professional when visiting customer premises.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Clear communication with customers and colleagues.
• Geographical knowledge and LCV experience.
• IT systems familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented LCV Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
