Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking an HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/Unload to join our Birmingham team. You will be responsible for timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while meeting customer expectations.

You will operate commercial vehicles, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, load and unload rental equipment, and maintain professional communication with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hold Category C+E driving license with no more than 6 points.
• CPC certification and tachograph card required.
• Proactive safety approach and polite customer-facing manner.
• Good geographical knowledge; IT systems literacy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to customer sites.
• Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness before journeys and secure loads.
• Load and unload rental equipment including heavy plant and MEWP.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to legal, safety, and working time regulations at all times.

Job description

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/ Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
