Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Used Car Sales Controller in the Basingstoke area to drive the used car operation, meet targets and supervise Sales Executives. You will train staff, coordinate deals and ensure robust admin processes for smooth department performance.

Qualifications

Experience in managing used car sales and meeting targets.
Strong cost control and administrative procedures.
Ability to supervise Sales Executives and train them.
Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

Managing the operation of the used car sales ensuring targets are met.
Maintaining rigorous Cost controls.
Supervising Sales Executives and coordinating sales activity.
Providing training and guidance to Sales Executives.
Compiling and agreeing deals.
Ensuring administrative procedures are adhered to for smooth running of the department.
Maintaining showroom and stock management.
Providing exceptional customer service that leads to loyalty and referrals.
Maintaining high housekeeping standards and orderly administration of work.
Customer awareness.
Negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Full driving licence.
